I have a yearling tokay. I dont know who had him before me, or what the husbandry was, but I know he's not as big as he should be at 1 year, and he wasn't a good eater when I got him. He's currently 18g. I dont know what his length or sex is (in spite of the fact that I call him a him).

Anyway, when I got him about 6-8 weeks ago he would only eat about 6 crickets a week. I've made some minor tweaks to the husbandry, and he's now eating probably 15 or more per week. How many crickets a week do you think a tokay of this size should be eating? What's a normal weight for a yearling? Any other hints for getting him going?

Superworms will fatten him up, try them and my tokays eat about 10 crickets every 2 days:)

Give them pinkies once in awhile. They also really like grapes. Just use tongs. :D They pretty much eat anything that fits in there mouth.
