both sites have the 6001 which is what I use and I don't have anything bad to say about it yet.

Yeah, but if you have a snake that weighs more than 'a half' then your SOL. I also have the 6001 (two actually) and I haven't a bad thing to say. They're awesome!

LOL!

My '03 Normal Female Ball was maxing out my scale months ago, (she's currently just over 800g now) and it was one of the higher end ones that I found in head shops. I have been told that Staples/Office Depot carries scales that can handle weights of thousands of grams, but I haven't gotten around to checkin' it out.

I got a postage scale and its great for weighing. Goes from 5g to 50lbs. Its great because I have bloods(that weigh alot) and want to weigh smaller snakes(babys). I got it off ebay for 30 bucks.

Staples has a SWEEEEET one that measures in 1g increments, but only goes up to 2kg. Perfect for my intents and purposes, but it may not work for you.

I will second Jeff's idea of staples , they have a whole line of digital scales all having different weight allowances. And most are very reasonably priced .

daver676: Which Costco did you go to? I just checked the one at Woodbine & Hwy 7 and they don't carry them.
