I'll have to state nice "Jungle Corn" quite obviously a hybrid (1/2 CK 1/2 Corn). The Albinos can be quite impressive & remember that it will change some due to the Corn influence as the colors start to come in more as it ages. I just sold my last 2 of the year on the weekend, who did ya pick that one up from? Mark

I got him off "The Spider Guy" sorry dont remember his name but he sold mostly spiders. And he said he got it in a trade. And the guy he traded it with said he got it in Calgary.

Bruce from out east (spider guy). Chances are its one of mine that either Wayne, Casey or Matt traded to him then as it does look quite familiar or it could be one of Walter's too. Mark
P.S. TerrorFox it is most likely a sibling, 1/2 sibling or cousin to yours.

I just assumed this was one of yours Mark - you sure had some impressive ones this year. You have to post pics of your holdbacks some time soon - you did hold some back didn't you???

Yeah, the similarity is quite close to mine so I thought they might be related. Its an awesome snake, picky eater though :-/

Very discouraging to lose your first one so soon after you buy him. They are persistent in finding the smallest gap to squeeze out of - seems like the first thing mine do when in a new container is cruise around looking for escape routes.
If you do a search in the corn forum on 'escape' you will find numerous suggestions on how to try and find them - all the way from putting flour on the floor to look for 'snake tracks' to using food or heat to draw them out. Seems like most of the time these methods don't work and actually a methodical search of everything and everywhere - inside, on top of and around everything - is the one thing that does work - either that of they turn up when you are not expecting them. They do tend to seek tight, dark warm spaces - so the inside of appliances, under radios, in computers - anywhere there is a small motor running - are common places. The only suggestion I have seen that I would NOT recommend is using double sided tape to trap them - too risky in my opinion.
Best of luck finding him

good luck finding him, he's a beauty and it would a complete shame to lose him.

Corns love climbing. Check high places. When mine escaped I found him on top of the door frame. Good luck.

Lost my splendida a week ago for about four hours. Keep your eyes open I found her slithering accross the carpet, my two aby cats didn't notice but I caught a glimpse. She was cold but has since eaten. I taught my daughter how to "correctly" close the cage. I've owned snakes for many years and have been through numerous escapes, but always found the buggers. Check piles of clothes, bags, bookshelves, etc... Good Luck

Oddly enough...my baby ghost corn vanished the second day I had her. She was in my closet in binder....I still found her though thank goodness! So...maybe a dark place?

Have you found your jc yet? My Jc likes to climb so I would also check high places. My cage is secured with a large metal bar on top ^_^ no way its gonna push it opened with that on.
I would suggest starting at the cage and going along each wall and being like...where is the darkest most cramped spot here? When I was little I found everything that went missing, I prided myself on it. My mom would always ask me cause I wouldn't stop looking till I found it.
