I picked up my first boa last Tues. It's 22" long; I fed it a very small rat on Wed. It's Mon. today and the boa is still coiled up in the warm side of the enclosure. Is it still digesting or is there something to be concerned about? My corn snake would be active by now. The warm spot is between 90-95, the rest of the enclosure is in the low 80's. Thanks for your feedback.

He is just fine, some like it warmer some like it colder.

I have some boas that stay on the hotspot alot and i have some that stay on the cool side alot, and they are all in the same room with the same ambient and same temp for a hot spot. 80-82 ambient and a 92 hotspot is what i have.

Your boa will be fine.

In addition to what HetForHuman said, boas are also not nearly as active as cornsnakes are. They generally spend a lot of time hiding, whereas corns will be out and about cruising around the cage. Good luck with your new little guy :)
