yeah so i bought my first crested last weekend.Fought with my girlfriend ( who didnt want me to get it ) through the whole ordeal, needless to say she wasnt happy.I ended up promising no more cresteds for 4 to 6 months till i can tell the sex.Not a good promise lol....since then i spent 135 U.S. dollars on a high red/Black melanistic cross.Which will be here next week, no she doesnt know yet.So i agree cresteds are very addicting and too cool.Better be i think i may have just traded my girl of 8 years for em!

ah yes, I also experience the "why did you do that AGAIN, you dont need any more" each time I bring something home. I now have 12. and 3 eggs cooking, and 2 more that will be laid any day.

yeah its bad man shes gonna be soooo mad and to tell you the truth im kinda scared about her finding out.Yet at the same time im sooo excited about my new arrival it kinda cancels all the bad vibes out....yep better get real comfortable with the couch think were gonna have to reintroduce outselves for sure...lol

well the whole ive been digging myself is just getting bigger and bigger....i called the guy about my highred/blackmelanistic cross and had him hold shipping till next week.I then put down 175 U.S. dollars on two more high end cresteds from acreptiles.com .So ill get all 3 on the same day...oooh im in some chit!So anyways theres the link my initials are JM if any one wants to check out my soon to be aquired cresteds!

I hear ya brother!!! my gf and I arent roomies yet (not until I get my degree in may) so I just wait till she comes over and notices on her own.... then boo ya do I ever I get it. of course since she is visiting me there is no way I visit couch......right now I am trying to convince her that snakes will not try to kill her in her sleep. I would love to get a carpet python, but she is seriously scared of snakes, so that would definitely be going too far.
But, dont worry, once you go past 5 cresties the reactions get smaller and smaller. Actually, she told me she was looking forward to having a little "natue area" in one corner of where ever we move into, with my tanks set up nicely on some sort of shelving arrangment.
Things are looking up.

ive got 12 cresteds, 1 gargoyle and 2 scorpion geckos. and a cat.

Here is a plan: Dump her, she obviously doesn't care about what you want or what you enjoy, she's probably jealous that you're not spending all your time telling her how nice she looks.

Or get on her case every time she buys a new pair of shoes. "You already have shoes, what the heck is wrong with you" Eventually she'll get the message.
