Hi, just found the site and joined. Not a Canadian, but was a landed immigrant and lived in Kitchener for a few years (88-92). I'm now back on my home turf, Vashon Island, near Seattle. (pronounced with the accent on the first syllable as opposed to Vachon)
I'm a 45 year old mom of three. One is married and lives in Minnesota, one lives here with me (14, male) and one lives with her dad at the moment.
My current herps are 1.0 common boa, 0.1.1 '04 normal corn hatchlings, het for amel or snow, 1.0 '04 amel corn hatchling, het for for ghost, and 1.0 green iguana. The iguana is a rescue that I've had for nearly 7 years, and the boa is a secondhand rescue (the previous owner had rescued it, but after 7 years could no longer keep it). The unsexed corn hatchling has been a tricky feeder, so has not been handled much or sexed yet.
I also have a reef tank, 3 freshwater tanks that are going to be merged down to 2 shortly (and one eventually), and pet mice which are not for use as feeders (I feed f/t).
Anything else, feel free to ask :-)
Heidi
