I think its disgusting too think people find it fashionable too wear python skinks, or any skins , Especially with the fact that we could synthesis something too look and feel exactly the same.
If it spreads the giant pythons will join countless other animals wiped out because of fashion .

I understand the sentiment, but I have cow-skin sandals on right now, so although I feel bad for the snakes, I'd be a hypocrite to really complain about it on moral grounds.

Hey, it wouldn’t be hypocritical because cow leather is a by productive of an animal raised for food production. I Dislike the idea of butchering animals only for there skins, not only because it is completely unnecessary but because it encourages the hunting, trapping an poaching of animals that are already at risk of extinction from human kinds effects on the world. But on the flip side, if we are raising animals (the cow) for food I am completely for finding ways too use even more of the same animal, less waste.

Good point. Maybe we'll see python burgers at Loblaws before long. As long as they're farmed that is...

problem is cows are a domestic form of animal, it's not like poachers can go out and nail a few in the wild and sell them illegally, because any species of wild cow left out there looks nothing like domestic breeds , with pythons, it will always be cheaper too poach them then raise them and there is no real way of telling the difference once the things dead.
Ha ha python burgers, I can see that rubbing some people the wrong way,
