Got my crickets today and Leopard tomorrow

Just setup my cricket tub with paper towl as substrate and paper towl rolls, and TP rolls for extra running room. I used Flukers high calcium cricket gutload for food and Flukers cricket quencher for water source. I also put in some fish flakes and romain letuce.

My first Leopard Gecko comes tomorrow. Heres a pic of her from the place i bought it: http://www.sundialreptile.com/leo20048302.htm

I'm going to buy the crickets now at my local pet shop and just got the pink label Rep-Cal and blue label for the supplementing. Water bowl, hide box, humid hide and some rocks, wood for decor is all ready in her cage. Oh and the small lid with the Rep-Cal is in there as well.

I'm gonna let the crickets fill up tonight and if my new Leopard is willing to eat tomorrow she will have some nice fat crickets waiting for her. I'm so excited :D

Btw she is about 2 1/2 months old. What size crickets should I get her?. I was just going to get the smallest they had and I called to make sure they sell in different sizes which they do.

Good luck she is a beauti, you should start with mediums first. not to big tho,I have had a gecko that would not eat because someone gave it big ones and they bit him,so be careful.

I went to the pet store before you posted that and ended up getting smalls. I emailed the breeder and she said the Gecko was on smalls so it worked out perfect.

My Gecko came via UPS today at 9:00am and its been more than I expected. They are SO CUTE and they act like Lions when they hunt the food LOL. I put two crickets in her cage but she couldnt catch them so I used reptile tongs to feed her. I didnt want to put her in another tub to feed her since she is just getting use to her new home and I didnt want to leave the crickets in her cage as well. She ate 5 crickets and it seems she would eat more if I offered but I think 5 is enough for today or maybe a couple tonight for a snack.

I thought my Gecko would be boring in a way kinda like all my snakes lol just another animal to watch hide all day but this Gecko is active lol it never stops walking around haha so funny.

Leopard Geckos ROCK!!! I think as long as this one lives ok and all is good I will have to get 2 more :)
