beardie wont eat

I got the little guy about 5 days ago.. since then he ate 1 cricket.. i offer him cut up green veggies but he doesnt seem to be eating that either. he just keeps pushing against hte cage wall.. lemme know what you think.. marc..

i think that he still is trying to adjust to the new setting. I heard of beardies that didnt eat much or nothing when just purchased. So i guess you just have to give him some time and then he will start eating. Maybe not a bad idea to let his feces checked, just to be sure.

Hi, has he started to eat more? If not, check the temperature at his basking spot, it should be around 115 degrees f.

Give him/ her some time to settle in, try leaving him/her alone for a few days, then try feeding again.

How old is the beardie and how is the setup (size, temps, ect...) That will help some of us offer more advice.

Mostly it's because it needs some more time to settle in.
