Everywhere is different? What are some of these "different" temperatures you have come across?

As a general idea, 75F cool side, 87F warm side. Shoot for that. Corns are pretty "durable" but you still want to get as close to the ideal conditions as possible.

I was looking at random caresheets and they each had a 5 degree difference. My hotspot/Basking spot is about 77-78 degrees and the rest of the tank is probbly 73-75

77-78F is NOT warm enough for a corn to thermoregulate. Also, note that corns have been temp-gunned in the wild at over 100F. I'm not suggesting that they have to have access to 100F in captivity, but 78F ain't going to to cut it.

Well give me a suggestion, I have a Heating Pad underneath and it creates hotspots all around the half its on. some spots feel hotter then others. I measured the one in the middle and it was about that, I'll probe around to check all spots.

I probed around and found one hot spot that was about 80 F and oen that was about 95 F is this , The cold spot is 72. The snake moves around a bit, currently it is burrowed under the newspaper beside the 95 spot. I think I'll take the heating pad out and find out why it has such a weird change in temperature.

Perfect! The tank needs a hot side of 80+°F and a cooler sid of 75°F-80°F. This way the Cornsnake can regulate its own temperature. Cornsnakes prefer 80°F's temperature, this allows their metabolism to be more efficient and brief.

Awesome, Some days it climbs up and chills on the top lip of the tank (coldest probbly) and some it burrows under newspaper in the warm spots.

Sounds like you got yourself a healthy Cornsnake that knows how to thermoregulate. Make sure he isn't able to get out cause they are masters of escaping. lol. Have fun with your Corn.
