My much love paleosuchus palpebrosus (cuviers's dwarf caiman) aka: Ramone (the name of the gator from the horror movie alligator 1 & 2) he has unfortunately past on. I still am and haven't stopped crying for five hours. I was also curious how you guys reacted and what you did if you had a crocodilian that past on?

Okay it is a long story. see on Sunday me and my dad had to clean all the cages and mow the lawn. But we live on 80 acres so thats a lot of mowing. Well a lot of times I would take some of my pets out and supervise them before or after I was finished. So today I decided to take my baby caiman out and put him in this 75 gallon kiddie-pool (we got it for our ducks). He has never gotten out before, mainly because he is a foot long while the kiddie pool is two feet high. But with water makes it about a foot high, but that day I accidentily filled it up to high. Now and a again I would check on him. About three fourths the way done my dad tells me to go with him to pick up some food. I asked if we should put the caiman inside while we're gone but he said "he'll be fine." Well when we got back he was gone. Now we also have a huge creek on our land and a pond . Well my dad thought not told me he was dead because HE saw no way that caiman could have got out. But I believed he was alive. My mom thought he was in the neighborhood next to us and he would bite a kids finger and we would be sued. But after three days of searching we found him.And the five hours of crying was a form of speech but I was litteraly torn apart when he was gone.
