Looking good Sebastien & nice talking to you at the show. Have you managed to get them eating yet?
I've recently learned that quite a few with non feeding hogs are having success dipping pinkies in the juice from canned Tuna fish. The juice can then be frozen and used over and over.
Just thought I'd mention it. Haven't tried it myself.

Sweet! Good for you. Not exactly a lot of people who can say they have produced albino hogies. Sure there not albino GTPs but hey still rare enough in Canada.
Congrats,
Trevor

Awsome Snake!

I wonder what is about fish scents that would get a hog to eat? Not exactly the natural prey. Cod oil and tuna juice smell very different as well. It's curiuos.

We had some problem feeders and they ate minnow scented pinks.

I suspect it might be the mucous slime, on fish is similar to amphibian scent, but this tuna oil thing is really catching on in the US.. This is the first year I have seen so many posts about it.
If it works, it sure is a cheap solution to a common problem. State side, it's being used for both easterns and westerns

is the tuna oil/fish smell thing specific to hogs or snakes in general?

Even for fat tail geckos, the tuna is quite good. They go crazy over it. Also, water dragons.
