Hello all.

If you havent guessed it, I'm new to this place, and thought I should start on on the right foot by introducing myself.

I'm from southern Ontario, in a city called Belleville. Kinda rough around here, as I dont know anyone else interested in our fine scaled friends, and there is no local Herp Society.

I dont actually own any snakes... yet. But will someday own a Ball Python, the hard part will be trying to convince my fiancee to let me get one :D , even though she loves herps to, she's still a little squirmy on the thought of a snake.

I do own a Green Iguana, 2 Leopard Geckos and a Green Tree Frog, so all I'm missing is a snake really!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to becoming an active member here, looks like you all know what your talking about! :D

Buh-bye!

Hello and welcome!

I wish you good luck in convincing your fiance to get a snake, I'm still trying to convince my boyfriend that 5 snakes aren't enough!!! Hehe :) I'm sure she'll come around though, snakes are just too much fun to keep.

best way to break her in is with a precious lil cornsnake preferably a snow corn they so sweet and pink and very nice! If you bring her one of those she will fall inlove in a heartbeat!

Welcome. You will probably find out soon that other herpers are not too far from where you live.

there's a herp show coming up this Sunday in St Jacobs
maybe you should bring her to that and see how many pretty snakes there are out there
(Take a look under the Events in the forum )

Thats a great suggestion, though St. Jacobs is quite a distance from where I live... so it cant be done.

Thanks for all the support everyone, your suggestions are duely noted.
