Here is my Amber. I picked her up at the last toronto expo. Sorry I'm so slow with the pictures but I wanted to make sure she was settled in and she just shed yesterday. She hasn't eaten for me since I got her I"m assuming the shedding was the culprit. Hopefully she will accept in the next few days. She is one spectaular baby!! Thanks Simon!

She's only as big as she was at the show. lol, maybe it's because I have small hands. ;)
She shed on Monday but hasn't eaten yet. I'm offering every 2-3 days. Hope I' m not stressing her out! were you feeding f/t? I tried f/t and f/k and she hasn't accepted eithor. I'm thinking it was because she was in shed, but she is so bright that I didn't realize she was in shed till I found it. lol Then she was even brighter!! :) I absolutely love her! And yes, her name is Amber, just like a little jewel. :) Not that she is amber in color, lol, but I just love the name. I think it suits her just fine :)

THanks everyone for the great comments. I think she is such a sweet heart! I can't wait till she starts growing to see how her colors are going to come out. :) She is awesome, I'd say one of my favorite snakes but I just can't decide. lol. They are all my favorites. :D :o

I keep reading about f/t and f/k.....what does that stand for?

f/t= frozen/thawed and f/k= fresh killed. :)

You might be stressing her out by every 2-3 days. Some hatchlings can't take that stress. Try and leave her alone for 7 days and try again.

I don't remember if she was on f/t or live....the only thing that I remember was that she has at least eaten 5 meals plus....or else she wouldn't have been at the show.

But like I said if anything does happen, let me know and we'll work it out~

But I personally wont get stressed about it. She was in shed, so that is properly why she hasn't eaten yet~

Thanks Simon. I guess I kind of knew I might be stressing her, just wanted to hear it from someone else. I just want everything to go well with her, she is so great! I will leave her be for the next week and then try again. Thanks.

nice snake,i have one just like it and its hard to tell when its in shed because of its bright colour.
