Hi, I have 2 ball pythons, a male and a female, both about 1.5 years old. I purchased them from Port Credit about 6 months back. They are know up to weight to begin breeding, and since I am new to reptile breeding I was wondering what is the best setup for an incubator, I was looking at getting a hava-bator (turbo fan) but I am thinking it might be to small? Any advice or which incubator is best and if a fan is needed would be a great help :-) Also I noticed people tend to breed anytime of the year, is this possible?

Also if I do build my own incubator as I have seen many people on the thread do, where could I by the parts such as heat tape?

And how do you attach the Thermometer to the heat tape to turn it on and off? As well as a fan?

Any help would be great as well as pics if possible;)

You can use the hovobator. Just get a big stirofoam box (fish stores often have some) and cut the top part to fit your top hovobator on it, and voila you have a very big hovobator.

Wow it's that easy :-) Have you done this before and has it worked, also where to you put the water?

I have not personally done it, but know a few people who have used this method for ball python eggs, ringned python eggs and burmese eggs
