Who keeps this snakespecies and what can you tell me about the basic care of it?

Not neccessary anymore. The snake appeared to be a Elaphe obsoleta spiloides.

what's the common name for tha? Is it the fox snake?

Elaphe vulpina = Foxsnake
Elaphe obsoleta spiloides = Grey Rat Snake
