The fact that they are nocturnal...he'll come out at night :)

Could also be in shed, but I'd recomend some hands on interaction myself as none is taking place obviously? I visually "see" every specimen every day at my house & I have literally 100's. Should be pretty easy to check on 1 snake once a day or at least every second day. If husbandry is correct there should be nothing to worry about. Mark

Well you just dont want to handle him until he eats. Thats usually what the wait period is. Maybe even let him get 2 meals down so you know hes forsure doing okay. Then have fun :D

My jcp stayed in his hides for over a week, then he shed, and started exploring. After that he went through a water tub phase, and was in there almost 24/7 for a few weeks. Then he went to a bask/hide rotation, and moved about the enclosure to a variety of spots. Now he likes to climb, and that is the best of all. Just give him some time.
