Has anyone else seen the site for a free ipod?

Basically you just register and then sign up for one free trial and get other people to join and the ipod is yours. Are these things usually legit or not?

I would assume so because you sign up for free offers, and they most likely depend on you forgetting to cancel. Seems like a fairly good deal though if you don't mind a free trial of some junk! But hey, everyone loves free junk right?

Rule if thumb with the internet, if it seems to good to be true it usually is. I personally wouldn't hold my breath with this kind of promtion, and if they ask for your credit card info for shipping costs or something like that. I wouldn't give it to them.

perhaps, but the promos that you have to sign up for are all legit comapanies...

Reminds me of quite a few years ago when freecondoms was popular on many campuses... its the same idea

Actually i read about this and its legit. The guy got his gift certificates for 250$ (one option instead of an ipod). It was in one of the guys from techtv's blog. pretty sure its only available to US resedients.

Yeah, if it ends up working and I get the free iPod I'll let everyone know...

I usually don't do those online things but it made sense to me that they would benefit as well, so I decided to go for it.

Who knows... but I sure wouldn't mind, plus I get all sorts of goodies from stamps.com now! I chose that offer because I get a free digital scale with my trial period, found a way to make it herp related!

The free scale thing was only valid if I went past the trial period... oh well

its still worth checking out... a friend of mine is getting his ipod in pretty soon here.
