When are cresties full grown? Age? Mine seems pretty small and the girl at the store said it is a baby. They look much bigger in the pics I've seen.

The body ranges from just under 4 inches to 5 inches, and the tail about the same length again, so 8-10 inches total. Weight around 40 grams. I've found it to take about a year for total length, and a little longer for the weight.

It also depends on what they are being fed.

Oh. Well mine is only about 4 inches total, nose to tip of tail so I guess she has some growing to do.

Cresteds are usually considered adults at about a year of age. The max length of 8-10 inches is correct, but older female Cresteds can weigh as much as 70 grams.

I'm excited. I can't wait for her to get big and maybe calm down a little bit. Although I think she is starting to get used to me cause today she sat still in my hand for like a minute!
