i have a 2 year old ball that was raised by my friend on mice just to see how he would do i tryed feeding him a small rat it was over within seconds hes a real killer but this afternoon when i got home i couldnt see my ball in its cage then i looked at the side of the tank and he as burrowed under the bedding and his water dish. i checked the hot side of the tank and it was only 85 he is under the cool side witch is 75 never seen him do this before and im worried what could it mean

Well for starters your temps are too low. The Hot side should be between 90 - 95 and the cool side should be 80 - 85. You need to raise your temps. As to why he is under the paper on the cool side, best answer I can think of is that he is trying to get warm, and getting under the substrate, assuming your using an UTH would be the closest he could get to the heat source.

fix your temps and let your snake do the thinking, he knows how to a be a bp better than you do, just get the husbandry right, and they do the rest.
You can't "burrow" under newspaper or paper towels, so I'm assuming that you have your bp on some bark-like substrate. If you do, be careful with the temps. 90 degrees on TOP of the substrate, will be 115 degrees UNDER the substrate. Could be a problem.
