Hello... just showing off my Gerrhosaurus nigrolineatus (whew!)

He isn't new, I've had him for several years, and was Samba's Reptile Rescue's first ever rescue... (of course I HAD to keep him).

Now that I've got photos I just thought I'd share...

Waking up...

"Where's my coffee???"

Nothing like early-morning areobics to get your day started... (actually, he's 'begging' for treats)...

His portrait (and you think photographing babies is hard...) =)

Hope you enjoyed!! =)

Nice lizzie! Looks like you've got him well trained! :)

He's very well 'trained'!! LOL He's does 'tricks'; he's one of the smartest lizards I've ever had... He 'plays dead' which is unusual since most animals do this when threatened; he appears to simply relax... like 'hypnotized chickens' or something. As seen above he also will 'beg' for treats. He is such a great pet, it's a shame that more people aren't interested in this species! Thanks for looking!!

I used to have a plated lizard, but he past away a few months back, I had him for a couple years as a WC adult.

Nice lizzie though..

Thanks, Kevin, I know for a fact that mine is WC also... he was caught on one of those herping trips where you can take your catch home with you... this couple went to Africa or Madie or something... they make great pets... =)
