I am like forced to photograph this snake every month. I never even though of buying these snakes myself until my boyfriend bought this one, and now all I can think about is getting another, and another and another. Some of my other snakes barely get a photo every 6 months. :)

But for now, same old Oscar the non grouch. :P But I did get a size referance pic of me and him outside today. He was perfectly calm the whole time and stayed on his branch. But I kept a good eye on him because I am a wuss.

When you get to see pics with people in them I always find the snakes size is more in perspective. He is a little bugger still....but pretty long. :)

Thanks for following along with this entire change process of our first GTP. :D

You too B. :P Glad you finally checked a show out.

Jeff- I am thinking so. One of those non specific localities for now as I don't know for sure. But by the fact his change is happening for over 8 months now and the shape of his head I am guessing Biak for sure, but who knows. He isn't quite the attitude monster most Biaks are though, but that could just be luck.

Hmmmm.....I got 2 adult Biak females that are very very lonely.................

Great snake! You guys are lucky to have that one. I just wish the Biaks came with Aru-type attitudes. That would ROCK! :D

What is the GTP type that offers the best temperment? I want love to have one someday, but I prefer a handleable snake and not getting bitten every day! thanks!

If you want a handling snake, get a corn or a boa constrictor. This is a "hands off" species that shouldn't be handled with any regularity, even if they can be. But even getting one that can be is not very common.

Very nice Marisa! Hey Jeff, mine is lonely too. I haven't sexed it yet though.
