shedding problem

Hello, I have a rat snake that I got in March. He s been a really good eater and has been shedding regularly. However his most recent shedding came out kind of messed up. His skin came off in 2 large pieces and a couple of smaller pieces.

I live in SoCal and as I don t have AC I ve been having trouble maintaining constant tempurature. I was just curious if this could be the problem and what people would suggest to do
