dont learn on your ETB...learn on inexpensive colubrids of the same size...,,there is a good chance you will be bitten if the snake is not somehow carefully restrained. I had one just turn its head in a deliberate and slow manner, find a soft spot like a milksnake would, and start chewing on my arm...good thing it was only a 6 month juvie.
LOL I can handle the ETB's fine...
I wanna know the typical depth of a female and male...

well i would be VERY impressed if you tried to probe an ETB alone, hahahahahaha!
Nah wouldnt do it alone :)
I know better than that :D
well not to sure on the exact probing method, but a nifty trick i learned is that males tend to have longer tails (after the vent) than females do... just take a look at your pair, you'll see what im talking about! male should have a much longer tail than your female!

P.s. i was just told this, so dont take it as fact, and it would prolly be hard to tell unless you had another to compare it to, but go on...take a gander!
