this is a new species of pit viper
in China ,Just have 1 official record
do anyone have infomation of this ?
its beautiful.....unlike anything I've ever seen.....very cool!

There is no such thing as Ceratrimeresurus, and also i cant see any picture.
I never heard of this species too, maybe this is a species haven't been upgrade to a new species yet. The nearest new species I can recall is Triceratolepidophis sieversorum Ziegler, Herrmann, David, Orlov & Pauwels, 2000 from Vietnam; correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, this is a nice animal!

If i could just see the pictures i can tell you is it T. sieversorum or P. cornutus . I have picture only from cornutus bit ive seen sieversorum in my own eyes few times. Also im 110% sure that this "new" species is *******. Sorry my language.

sorry everyone i donn't know the real scientific name,
coz i donn't know about this one ,but this is is caught myself in china and i post this scientific name is found from china official name list of viper

Finally i see the pictures, looks like juvenile Triceratolepidophis sieversorum, but closer pic from head area would confirm. Usually T. sieversorum has 3 "horns". P. cornutus 2 .

This species in picture is now identified to a light colored P. cornutus !
