i dont know about the conversion rate, but here in the u.s. i have seen males for 500.

Going price in Canada is $4,000 CDN a pair, a good price on a single male is $1,500 CDN. They are cheaper in the States as there are lots more available down there & its a much different market. Note that it is illegal to transfer them from the US to Canada or from Austraila to anywhere. They are a CITES animal & can also be obtained from Europe etc. but only with the proper documentation etc. Mark
P.S. Note that in the next few years prices should drop a bit in Canada as more people start producing them.
