What has happend to all of the messages that exceed 30 days?
I have noticed it in the classifieds, where you can't see any messages beyond the 30 day-point.

Anyone know what had happened?

We're deleting any ads that are older then 30 days.. On the 2st of every month, they'll be deleted.. This just keeps the ads fresh.. For those of you who are still posting the same ad every week or bi-weekly, please, have a look at the updated Classified rules..

Is there anyway in retrieving them? Or are they permanently gone?

Hmmm...that kind of sucks. I used to search old messages to get an idea of prices for species, but all that information is lost now.

rg It was also helpful to find out the history of some animals people are selling. Some pass through a few hands in a short time.;) I found it useful to see prices that snakes have sold for in the past.... Oh well. Space is money!!

Can you repost the same animal if you manually delete your own ad? What about those people who post thier available list every so often; some animals change but many stay the same.

No, if you delete your ad, you're breaking the rules of the classified.. And we WILL know if you do this..

so if i sell a snake than i cant go and deleat my add my self ? I think that when some one sells an animal and tells every one that the post should stay for a day to let every one know as to save every one a lot of time resonding to wasted replys on the the pm or e-mails .but who am i just a little whele in the big spoke lol Paul Van Hooser

Paul, i noticed that you did this tonight, Thank you for doing it.. We do ask that if you have animal for sale and it actually sells, you post that it sold.. That way we can go and delete the thread in question..
