I finally got them. This is my breeding pair of surinam cobalt tincs. They're so bold and they're like fruit fly vacumms! The tank they're is only a temporary cage, I just finished a forty gallon for them and i'll post pics of that in a few days. What do you guys think?

OMG!! They are soo kool!! Are you breeding them, are you willing to ship them to Canada BC Burnaby?
Tincs are awesome frogs to keep. Very nice looking ones at that too. Feed them as much as you can....cuz thats the greatest joy of keeping them in my opinion, their beauty and the huge appetites.

Nice frogs.
Dart frogs are the ultimate terrarium inhabitants in my humble opinion. In fact, I beleive them to be more addictive than both nicotine AND heroin.
Remember... with dart frogs, and young frogs especially.... feed the living heck out of them, and you will enjoy some meaty, and prolific frogs for a number of years.
Dart frogs are the future of herpetoculture in my opinion. If you can... I suggest that you (or anyone) save up for a trip to Central or South America. It will increase your appreicaition for your frogs tenfold, and will be the experience of a lifetime. I am in Peru on a frog trip as you read this post, and let me tell you, it is the experience of a lifetime. I have taken a number of good digital photos, and I am also writing an article on the trip. Stay tuned to www.understoryenterprises.com (MArk Peppers site) for the article and photos.. though we will be in Peru for another week.
Good luck with your new dendros.

The pictures really don't do these frogs justice. Double J and Big V, I agree completely with everything you said. One is a litlle smaller so iv'e been monitoring his/her food intake carefully. They've each probably had 40-50 fruit fries and crickets today. I'm being a little generous since they just got through shipping. How many would you feed each per day? Alex, I am planning on breeding them and aquiring some more dart frogs to. Maybe reticulatus. These guys are so fun to watch, and so curious too. They're always cruising the cage for food, or climbing the plants and logs. I'll post better pics soon. Later, Jordan
