want to introduce myself

Hello.

I'm **** Visser from Zaandam - Holland or The Netherlands.
I startet dealing with reptiles in 1968 and I'm still goin strong but only with Asian pitvipers. I'm completely mad with Trimeresurus complex, Tropidolaemus, Protobothrops and Ovophis.
I startet with all reptiles even Krokodilles, I keeped them in a hothaus. In 1975 - 1976 I did a trip to India by car right from Amsterdam to Delhi trought all the wonderfull country's one can not go anymore like Iran, Afganistan and Pakistan. We went to Calcutta, Buhbaniswar, Vishakhapatnam and Madras where I met Romulus Whitaker, I think, one of the best Herpetologists on the world (he just relaised a new book about Indian snakes, I think the best there is at the moment, see www.snakesofindia.com ) . I did only herpetologic inquiry in different Wildlife parks and made a special about the bludsucker lizzart Calotus versicolor, but also caching cobra's in the village hauses and the bush. In 1990 till 2000 there was a lull in myTerrarium hobby and I cept only 1.2 Trimeresurus purpureomaculatus till the 3th generation. 4 years ago I started freshly and developed a new kind of poison snake terrarium.
Because I'm mad about Tropidolaemus I enter this forum and I hope there are lots of friently peolple here....

No Emmy, no webside and that 2 photograps are going around the world for about 1 year now, so you might have seen it somewhere else. I think nobody is reading German verywel (let alone Dutch...)but on the biggest Europian (German) snake forum my pictures are also visible, see at www.schlangengrube.de.
I explain something of my setup at an other place here on this forum, I think it was enclosures or reptile room ect.

Its a pitty your partner is not in Austria the coming weekend because of the biggest Reptile show in Europe which is in Hamm, 3 hours from Austria....
I go there also for pick up my new animals.... 1.1 Trimeresurus trigonocephalus and 1.0 Protobothrops jerdonii xanthomelas.

Is your partner only go to Austria or to Germany to...?
