Hey everyone, if you needed to save space but required, say 4 by 2 feet of floor space for a terrestrial snake, could you but a shelve in the enclsosure that is 2 by 2 feet. Say cut 1/4 of the shelf off? Just want some opnions, thanks.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but if I understand correctly, you want to divide the floor space in two? Floor space required by a snake cannot be divided, they need that much space to be able to stretch out, etc. If you are asking whether you can add shelving to enclosures, then sure, some snakes will make good use of them, but you still need to have the required floor space as a base.

Thanks Linds and Slipknot. I wasn't planning on using this idea. But it did cross my mind.
