Every year when I go to Daytona I try to get around to all the tables to see what is available. Sometimes you can discover some hidden treasures and others that are just plain obvious. This year was no exception.
First for the Odd Balls. I'm just calling these normals for now, but they are very cool to say the least. They were not priced as normals but with all the crazy stuff popping out these days they were worth the small investment I had to make to acquire them. They are 2 girls. There bellies are pure white and they are different. That's all really.

This was the first year I have seen Caramel Albinos offered for sale at the show. There were maybe 10 available in all. Janie Malsin and Doug Beard had 3 beautiful ones on display and they represent the line I am currently working with. However I wanted to diversify my bloodline so I arranged to get this little guy to cross into my existing stock. He came from Brian Sharpe and represents the Mark Bell line of Caramels. He glows!!!!

You can never have enough Ghosts in your collection. What they can do to compiment other morphs is amazing! When I saw this little girl I just had to have her. I also picked up her sister. Ghosts have really shot up in price. People are starting to realize their true worth. Just try and find females for sale these days. It's next to impossible!

Last but not least is the creme de la creme. I wanted to add a Cinnamon male to our collection this year and thought why not go one better. This is one of only 3 Pewter males in existence(That I know of). When I breed him to pastel females I will be able to produce, Pewters, Super Pastels, Super Pastel Pewters, Pastels, Cinnamons and Normals. I can hardly wait for one of those clutches to pip. Probably not for a few years but well worth the wait!

All in all it was a good Daytona. A few Odd Balls and Gems made this trip well worth it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post and looking.
