Give birth already! Breeders pls read.

As best as I can figure based on the date of the pics I took my ATBs copulated during the first week of March. I'm pretty sure I caught her ovulating but like the copulation I didn't write down the exact date but it could have been the second week of April. Again I'm basing this on the dates on the pics I took.
So long story short she is a huge as a Colombian but doesn't seem to be ever going to give birth. She still eats if I feed her and thermoregulates fairly often. She never seems to be in one spot for more than a day then she moves again.
I've read that it can take 7 months in the Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and boas. If this is the case and she was bred in March that means she is at the end of month 6 and could go another month.
I'm wondering what the members experiences have been.

I have heard it can take up to 8 months gestation. Be patient. :) Did she shed after ovulation?

Well, I'm still waiting for Solomon boas which bred around the same time... Some boas have looong gestation periods and many feed right up to the time they give birth. You just gotta wait, then wait some more. An while you're waiting make sure you cage cracks are filled.
There's nothing like waiting all that time, just to have to go on a shoelace hunt.

Well at 6 months you still have a week or so if she ovulated in march if it was April you could wait till october even longer. I've heard as long as 9 months but I don't put much stock in that number. I bred ATBs a very very very long time ago and I seem to recall her droping in mid to late sept, though not 100% sure, it was about 20 years ago.

Yeah always offer a gravid female food. I find with my boas and pythons they will keep eating almost all the way till they drop.
Though they will tend to eat less often and smaller sized meals, if they eat keep feeding!
Roy I'm catching up, its depends and prune juice for me,lol.
My birthday is coming up, couple of nuks would be nice. ??

Yes Trevor while waiting make sure all your cracks are sealed as Roy stated. I had the first hand experience of discovering a wayward shoelace this year,just lucky my son found it before the cat LOL. Anyways, yeah they are very hard on a guys patience, my girl went at least eight months closer to nine. Oh but the wait is sooo worth it, they have got to be one of the cutest baby snakes ever, when I get my new camera you will all be sick of seeing all my update pics! They are growing like weeds and are allready on hopper mice! Good luck Trevor and remember good things come to those who wait LOL!
