Hi ~

just wanted to share a pic each of my three Shinisaurus crocodilurus which I believe to be the only three in Canada at this time.

If I should be wrong, I'd like to hear from you - maybe some blood exchange can be arranged?

Enjoy,
Kai

Very nice. I enjoy seeing people who have something a bit different for a change. Are you attempting to breed them??

I sure am trying - they are virtually unsexable. Even Bert Langerwerf told me that he mostly operates by putting two animals together to see if anything develops. They can get really nasty if one accidentally puts two males together!

If you'd like to see how nasty it gets:

Then click on the link that reads:

There are a couple others, and they have been produced in captivety by Dominic Clarke, formerly of Menagerie petstore, here in Toronto

That's no surprise. :) I think Dominic can breed anything he wants to.... kind of like a certain Roy.

Kai, did you happen to get them from Pat M. here in Vancouver? If so, you probably have the only ones here in BC. If not, there may be a couple more of them here in the Lower Mainland. Last time I was at Pat's house he had a small group of them, but, that was quite a while ago.

Thanks for posting those pictures, and good luck!
