What would be a good way to setup an aquarium for an ATB?

I know alot of people use rubbermaids, but I would like to see the animal.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Also, is flourescant lighting okay?

I use a 33g for my female. I also bred them in it.

The lights took some adjusting. Now I have an UTH under the waterfall and the silver dome is gone and the only one light bulb is in the canopy light because the cool side was not cool enough.
Also I had to cover up some of the screen to help hold in some humidity which is the biggest problem with open top cages. All the heat and humidity rises straight out the top. They can be used but they take more time and effort to get them to work right for arboreals. I have to mist a lot more often than I would if I was using a front opening cage.
As for a florescent light, it will benifit you more than the snake. ATBs don't need UVA/B bulbs and sleep all day so the only advantage to using it would be to brighten up the cage. There is also not enough heat generated from a florescent light to increase your ambiant.
Cheers,
Trevor

That is a sweet tank man. Thanks for the input.

What are YOU using for cool temps and HOT temps?

Also, are you keeping the heat lamp on all night, or just using the UTH then.

Thanks again.

On the hot side I have the black heat lamp with a 60w black light bulb that you get at a hardware store for $3. It is hooked to a dimmer and is on 24/7, so is the heat pad. The canopy light is on a timer and that is the only one that goes off at night. I don't use anything on the cool side.
Cheers,
Trevor
