Crocodile Skinks (Tribilonotus gracilis) - I was wondering if anyone knows how much these go for (if they "go" at all  ) I'm getting the impression, from my web searches, that these guys aren't very common...anybody actually breed them in Canada?
I've seen (haven't actually SEEN the lizard, I just saw the listing) a lizard listed as a "crocodile skink" for sale at a local herp pet store but the species name was different (Tracheloptychus madagascariensis)
Anybody have any info on this species?

If I remember correctly, Scotty Allen had a couple of them at one of the shows about 2 years or so ago. You might try contacting him, see if he has any info.

Trib's are infrequently available, usually available upon request at decent reptile stores. There have been a few people over the years to have bred them, but most have had problems keeping babies alive. I'm aware of one person that is/has been breeding them for several years now, but he does not sell them.

If/when you do find some available, expect to pay around $250/ea for wild caught adults.

Best wishes,
