You can't house veileds together. The males are extremely territorial - the females too for that matter. When the aggression isn't a problem - the constant advances of the male on the female would be too stressful. You would probably stress them to death. :( There are very few chams that can be housed together and even those in HUGE outdoor aviaries/greenhouses by experienced keepers.

That would be an awesome cage for one of them, though. Keep them visually seperated as well - the male could become obsessed with "amorous" thoughts to the point of refusing to eat. ;) Visually seperating your female is important because the sight of a male may trigger her body into constantly producing eggs - which is physical stress.

If you want them to breed - that's the only time they should see eachother. :) How old are your guys??

Hey,

I know people have been successful with housing adult pairs together but these are in extremely large enclosure, well basically a walk in rainforest. To the average hobbist this is unable to do. As jaylyn said males are highly territorial. Look at veileds that have bred before, there are wounds all over them. This is one reason why i don't want to breed veileds, because I love my baby boy to much.

i agreee with the other posts when i had my vields i tried to keep them together and it was a nightmare the female was fine but the male was a horndog and would not leave her alone
you'd be better off making two slightly smaller cages were they could'nt see each other
if they can see each other they will constantly be trying to get at each other
this is from past experiance so either just get one lizard or make two cages
