.....this pattern abnormality in one of my hatchlings. This is one from a clutch of 15. They all hatched out very big for corns and are from 2 WC corns. I usually do not see this type of pattern in wc.

Who knows, if its genetic or proven out then you can name a morph after yourself :p Looks pretty cool!

Very cool! Not that I think we should go out and start catching all the corns we can but I think there is a lot to be said for new blood once in while. Some friends of mine ended up with a corn when the local green house called to say they found a snake in a shippment of flowers from Florida. She says it looks like a miami. I going to ask them if I breed it into my collection just to add some new blood.
Cheers,
Trevor

Trevor, I used to (still do) provide a few lines of wc for some breeders who have felt that over the years their line has become somewhat suppressed or whatever. This little one was in a bunch to be sent off for $5.ea.( A good way to get some new blood out there.) I have bred wc mostly for the experience and also to see what may "pop up". Far from collecting every snake I see, I will take a closer look at some for sure. Some of my nicest hypos are from wc. Miamis too. A friend has a line he's working with from the coastal area of SC that he calls "khaki" at the moment. We'll see what they produce.
Mother nature has been developing these "morphs" a bit longer than us and I think she does a better job!

Some of my nicest hypos are from wc.
My first corn came from a pair of very old WC that were owned by a vet who sold them to a breeder. He bred them a few times and then the female died, of old age I think. My male looks as hypo as any hypo I have ever seen. Orange on red and a washed out belly for the most part. One of the nicest corns I've ever seen.

Miamis too.
The corn my friends have that arrived in some flowers at a local green house is said to look miami. I can't wait to see it.
Cheers,
Trevor
