Hey everyone, I am planning on picking up a JCP or IJCP (if one catches my eye) at this up and coming Red Deer show that I can't wait for. If I don't find one there I like maybe the TARAS show this fall. I just need an opinion on this enclosure that I have pre-made for the little guy (or gal). It's a 18.5 L sterilite container. I plan on heating it with a infrared bulb that I can control on a rheostat. I can get the temps to whatever I want underneath the bulb and it does stay cooler on the other end still. Humidity doesn't seem like it will be a problem but I'm playing with it right now. There is a hide (upside down plant potting dish), a plastic plant in the corner on the cool side to provide a bit of scenery and a little bit of more cover for the ground and perch. Two hardwood dowels, one horizontal across the middle and the diagonal one is just wedge from a bottom corner on the warm side to a little ways up the opposite side corner on the cool side. Water dish is on the cool side. Just need some opnions on if it's too much clutter or whatever. What temp should I be gunning for on the horizontal perch underneath the light? High eighty's? Thanks in advance guys. Sorry for the cheesey pic, I don't have a camera of any kind as i'm a poor student so I just busted out paint. I tried photoshop but that was way too complicated. Sorry for the ramble.
