Well he finally ate his monthy meal...I only have one more xsmall rat left, which he probably won't eat for another month so ..then I'll go back to the smaller ones cause he eats one or two of those a week! Picky bugger

Glad to hear he ate again! Thankfully I have enough BP's that I thaw enough for the ones that eat like garbage disposals and then offer to the picky buggers first!! LOL, this way I don't waste any. Of course when I get my Boa from Amber and Ian that should solve the uneaten rat syndrome!!

Also 3 of my balls wich all weigh in between 1400g and 1800g will eat 400-500 g rats every 2 weeks at the latest. The smallest of these three eats every week without fail. Mind you I have a smaller male that will only eat every month or so too. Balls are odd eaters, I weigh them every week before offering food so that I can make sure they are not dropping weight. So far I have no worries in that departement.

so far I haven't had any problems with that. the pieces are huge and he can usually just get his mouth around the rat so there is no room for those big hunks of wood. I also usually watch him for most if not all of his feeds to make sure everything goes smoothly.
