I was wondering if I could just leave the eggs in the cage?? I was going to put them in the aquarium incubator that I had for my leos, but it would be much easier if I could just leave them ion the cage. The cage stays around 70-80 (at the top by the lamp) depending on if it's night or not. I have the room at the bottem to keep them in a ziplock container. Anyone ever tried this?? I almost forgot what should the humidity be in with the eggs?? I read that it should have moist sides but not dripping. Does that sound right??

i found that eggs incubated in dried media have a little better hacth rate....as long as all the requirements are met, leaving them in the cage is fine, however, you will have a problem if you dont get to the hatchlings a short time after hatching....the adults will eat the babies if given the chance....so because of this, I dont recommend incubating in the cage, but its up to you!

good luck

I was going to put the eggs in a ziplock container in moist perlite. So I wouldn't have to worry about the parents eating the babies or anything like that.
