burrowing

Is it normal for my crested to burrow into the substrate during the day to hide? She does that sometimes, and sometimes she sleeps on the leaves of the plants. It seems to be at random, I can't figure out if its normal behavior or if there is something wrong.

I see some of mine doing that just before shedding. The substrate has a bit more humidity, making shedding easier. Of course, maybe it's really a female laying eggs :)
