If you haven't seen the rules posted here in this forum please read them as there have been some changes made for clarrification.
Effective immediately any and all comments made by anyone here at ssnakess.com that the mods consider to be flaming in nature will be removed as soon as they are found and warnings will be given. All warnings are recorded and anyone who receives three warning for violations of the TOS will be banned from the site.

Big Brother won't ban you, these guys will. It's honestly nice to finally see the Rules being enforced, even though I may be in the line of fire myself...

I think we were all in the line of fire at one point or an other, but without rules, people will not stop. After a few bans (hopefully they can do something better than just an ip ban) Mac address would be way better (many people don't know what a mac address is).
Anyhow, I got a warning out of 3 before this post was made. hopefully the person I talked about that got me this warning has 2 for the many posts they made.

Maybe with the new rules in place we'll see less favouratism for some people and not others. Hopefully this will be one rule that is enforced equally across the board and not just apply to some people and not others.

"Sexual Orientation"? I most certainly did not! That would mean that I used terms like "homosexual" etc. which I would NEVER do!
Whatever though, I was warned by the snake police so I guess censorship is the key to open discussion on this site.
There should be a forum for OPEN DISCUSSION where mods dont remove anything. That would solve ALL problems. That way any herp talk can stay in the herps forums and the other banter can have a place. I dont know why General Discussion is moderated cause it defeats the purpose!

I definatly appreciate the censorship on this site, got to a place like fauna and it's just mayham, it totally distracts you from the real purpose of this site, REPTILE INFORMATION!

There is no favouritsm on this site, if it's a violation of the TOS it gets resolved. Moderators even moderate eachother, believe it or not, whether it be moving a thread, or addressing their behaviour, regardless of what anyone else seems to believe. I've done it to others, and I've had it done to myself.

We do need to have a level of censorship, as this is a family-rated site with many young members. Trevor meant 'sexually'oriented'. As for my post being left intact, I never made mention to anything pornographic, so why would it be affected? All the General Discussion forum is for, is off-topic threads, and threads that don't have a designated forum, so moderating certainly does not defeat any purpose.

Now asides from all that, this thread was created out of courtesy for the community, so nobody is surprised by our new tolerance policy. Again, it has turned in to nothing but complaints. If you guys are so unhappy about the way it is run here, why are you still here? It seems all a good chunk of members like to do anymore is complain about the site and its staff. This is how things work, everything has been carefully decided amongst the team and it is what we feel works best, and if you don't like the way it works, then nobody is forcing you to stay. It's like standing outside in the cold and complaining to everyone you are cold, but you refuse to go somewhere warm. It just doesn't make any sense.

That's favortism? Intersting.. I have yet to see Mykee post anything that would even warrant him a warning on this site.. Perhaps that is what i meant when i said he would be okay??? I would have said the same thing to anyone else on the site who i may or may not talk to.. It makes no difference to me.. As far as favortism goes, wouldn't that be something shown to people you're friends with?? I have met Mykee on ONE yes, ONE occasion.. I hardly think that warrants me going out of my way to make sure nothing happens to him on this site..
