I finally got them!!!

After lots of months of researching and building i finally got them..........im proud to introduce to you, my bearded dragons: Truus and Bep (very dutch names :D)
This is Truus

I got them in a glass tank for now (size is 100x30x40 cm) with a T-rex MVB with a hotspot of about 113.5 F. I got a carton for a hide now, but im gonna break a flowerpot soon, to make a better hide. But the 2 ladies (if its right, they are ladies) are doing fine now and are very active
And in a while i shall move them into this enclosure

Amazing!! Congrats on the new little guys. You must be very excited. I remember when you first started building that cage. That was sooo long ago! :D It looks great though and so do the little dudes :p

Congrats Daan -- can't believe you finally got them after all this time! LOL... They're absolutely adorable :D And I'm sure they're going to adore their fancy digs when they're ready to be moved over there ;)

Daan, they're AMAZING! They're the luckiest beardies on the face of the planet. That has got to be the world's BIGGEST cage project. Probably or something. It's absolutely gorgeous, and the beardies are mint! Not to mention they have AWESOME names!!!

And it wasnt that long, only 1 year and 9 months :p
And i think they are the most beautiful beardies ever and they are sleeping now...............totally cute. See what beardies do, they make a guy use words like "cute" :)

Just curious, but what is beardie poop like, and will a complex cage design make for intensive poop cleaning efforts? :D

hehe, thought about that
I can take the hotspot out and the hide too. So that kinda minimizes the hard spots.
But indeed, i will have to get myself in some wierd positions to clean sometimes.

Congrats, they're definatly beautiful, and they do have a weird way of softening and man up a bit, of course ive got a soft spot for all my lizards. That cage is genius hopefully one day I can get around to creating something near as nice as that. The best of luck with the beardies, they look great.

One of the ladies (Truus) is in shed now, so not eating very much. But other wise they are doing great. Saw Bep eating some greens today, didnt expect that to happen, but its nice to see that she is eating the stuff. Both got misted a couple of times now, and i cant say that they dislike it, another good thing :D
Well, back to staring at the glass tank again :p
