yeah ..i agree with cruciform ..i was pretty surprised with the drug thread im happy it didnt get taken down :D
also there is just so many well educated people on this site and im very impressed, im learning so much! i kinda like all the attitude ;) its competition baby!!!

Actually I notice that there is just as much yipping back and forth and it seemed less venomous than usual.

Agreed. A website without some attitude and some humour ends up DEAD. You need attitude, personality even a little "fighting" to keep things fun, and constantly evolving.

If someone says something to you that you find overly mean or rude, then a simple PM asking them to clear it up would be better than these constant "Is anyone else noticing how mean everyone is" threads.

Attitude I am talking about means everyone isn't always fake a cushy...life isn't like that, and forums aren't like that. People argue, people say mean things, discussions get heated...its just life. Trying to force a forum to be fake and constantly hugging will cause it to die simply because perfect happy friendly people can be quite boring in some cases. Ever see the "Edward Siscorhands" neighborhood in the movie? Everyones lawn is perfect, at 7 am all the cars pull out for work exactly the same time, and differances freak them out, etc.
