I was thinking about taking my girl outside (on a leash), to enjoy walking through the grass of the old school next door to us. The grass is never sprayed with anything (never even watered since the school moved out of that location). Just curious if this would be safe or not? I don't want to put her in any harm.
For ideas of what the place is like, here is a pic taken from our balcony.
thanks in advance!

If it hasn't been sprayed, why not...?
Not sure she'll like it all that much though. We live ona farm. I used to take mine outside once in a while, and it really freaked him out. He would pin himself to the ground and stare at the sky, and not move a muscle. I think he was probably scared about predators(lots of hawks) swooping down. If you got her on a leash, I don't know if she'd even move. You could always put her in a mini wagon... :D
I built him a cage outside, and half of it is covered by tree branches. He likes that alot better. He'll sun on a brick cave, and duck under whenever something flies by(any type of bird at all), maybe you could do that....?

Thanks Will. We did take her out, but we went to a butterfly garden instead. It was very hot out, and she seemed to really enjoy herself (while being carried). She didn't like the traffic, nor did she like people walking past us. Oh, and she didn't like the grass that she sat on. But she did like the sunlight while being held :p
I am hoping to get a kiddie pool (small), to put onto our balcony so that I can set it up for her to sunbathe :) That way she shouldn't be upset and I will be right there (without having to stress her out).

PS Do you have any pics of the enclosure you made? I would love to see them :)
I don't right now, but will try to post one soon...

It's pretty basic, but he seems to enjoy the odd day out there when it is hot enough...

Sweet set-up Will! I am going to try to make a similar one for Ally, so that I can take it down and put it into storage whenever it's not being used. Awesome :D Thanks for the idea!!!
