Odd situation. Live in Southeast US. Friend found what research leads us (& petstore) to believe is a tiny fan footed gecko. In the shower at his gym! We do realize we could be wrong. (More because of where it it was found then because of its appearance) He already has a leopard one and knew we were considering getting one for our son. So he gave this one to us. Can find out all about substrates, water requirements, habitat, etc. And can find out what kind of feed. What we can't find out, however, is if the yucky worm and cricket casserole stuff that our friend gave us is okay for this little guy, because he is so small. He's about 1 1/2 inches long, if that much. He seems to be fairly active and loves to hide. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I wish *I* lived in a place where I could find herps in my shower...all I get is squirrels...(not my shower, in my backyard. :p )

Anyway, pinhead crickets should do the trick if it's that small...many petstores like Petsmart and SuperPet have them. I've never heard of the casserole stuff, but many geckos won't eat food unless its moving, unless they're omnivorous. Other than that, some pics would help us give a better identifcation...

If you don't have a digital camera, check out this site : http://www.gekkota.com/html/gecko_photos.html

If you see anything that matches what you have, let us know :D

Good luck with your little guy.
