HEY THERE!!
I just picked up my new juvi mangrove monitor. He's about 20" total and has some ENERGY. so far he isnt a biter but its only the first day.Im going to try and get some pics up but the web-site says they are too big to post. hmmm. Anyways the lady who sold it to me fed it on a schedule of turkey and eggs every day and a fuzzy every other day. If anybody has some other suggestions for me then I'll listen.By the way, these are great looking animals, he just looks awesome.

Adios, Nate

Hi,
Have you had Varanus before? These are aquatic types, need lots of water to soak in ALL the time. They particularly like fish and shellfish stuff too - they can reach lengths of 7 feet in the wild, and are flighty, bitey and mighty when it comes to their defenses, such as evacuating their cloaca and vomitting = they're very good at it, and can aim if if necessary - so beware. V. indicus is known as the poop-Varanus as it seems to have an endless supply of it to eject upon you, the keeper!

Good luck,
markb

As for posting pics, try uploading them to your gallery and posting them from there. You can upload pics of up to 250k instead of 25k, and can post multiple pics per post. If your pics are still too large, there are many photo editor programs and paint programs that can resize it. If you do not know how to upload and post pics from your gallery, check out the HOWTO Forum ;) Good luck with your new addition
