Can milksnakes be house in a 10 gallon tank?

yes, albeit some species will require larger quarters down the road.
I can't think of any milk that should be housed in a 10 gallon all of it's life... even scarlet's as small as they are, are very active... I would definately go bigger within the first year...

The real 1st rule about snake keeping: Find the snake you want/are capable of keeping and cater to the <b><u>SNAKE'S</u></b> needs. Don't make it cater to <b>YOUR</b> needs. It's needs are life and death, yours are saving $50.
Pick the milk you most like, get the enclosure all set up according to the snake's needs and then get the snake. Everyone wins! :)
