I was just browsing these forums when I decided to check out the classified ads and for some reason just went to see what people in Canada had up. I saw a pair of these (Giant Leaf tail geckos) U. Fimbriatus with the sweetest eyes I've ever seen. Right now I can't house them but once I get my new place which I've been waiting to open up now for a month but the forclosure keeps getting delayed I will have more than enough room and was thinking about owning them and possibly breeding them if I felt I was capable down the line.
I've done my usual ton of reading but if anyones got any personal experience or knows some really good reads let me know I'm very interested in these guys. I've read 40 gallons were sufficent but I plan to keep a pair in a 125 if i get a pair because I read that they should have enough room to set up their own territories. Also if anyone knows a good breeder I'd like to know that as well. (I live in New York but anywhere in the U.S. is fine or even Canada if they can be shipped over the border I dunno if they can or not)
