Yep its a species of lacertid............blue- tailed tree lacerta or blue-tailed tree lizard.
Good Guess!:)
CamHanna-I have never, ever seen anyone else even mention Sphaerodactylus on this site! I am absolutely obsessed with them!! Have you ever kept them as pets?!?!?
P.S. Sorry, Kevin, for going off-topic!!!

No, I've played around with them on vacation in Florida and thought about getting some but never done it. I don't like the small prey items, that's the main thing that's stopped me. Do you have any?
CamHanna - I lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years and kept many subspecies of Sphareodactylus, including S. Macrolepis, which, in my opinion, is the most beautifully marked gecko!
I had an extensive collection when I returned to the states, and they remained with a close friend who still lives in Puerto Rico.
The geckos, I found, were easy to keep, active enough to be observed, and had some extremely unusual behaviours, especially when confronting certain food types. They obviously take up very little space, and appeared to be somewhat social. I wrote a little report on the care and experiences of keeping sphareodactylus if you're ever interested I'll dig it up.
I would love to keep them again, however I can't seem to find anyone interested in either collecting them for me, or finding a private breeder... I would certainly pay a pretty penny for a small group!!! (hint, hint)
I also have some old photos of my collection which aren't that great, but maybe I can post them in the Gen. Lizard forum sometime. =)

I've seen them at shows a couple times but I couldn't say at whose tables.
Glades Herp Inc, www.gherp.com has Florida reefs some times but there aren't any listed on the site right now.
K-Snake has a list of importers on their homepage, I'm sure that one of them could find some Sphaerodactylus somewhere.
I'm not familier with S. macrolepis but I did a google search and that is a beautiful gecko. I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures when you have the time.
